I want to be a model. What kind should I be and how do I start?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but editorial modeling has the same measurement requirements as runway, the style you are most suited for is commercial modeling, like catalogue ads and ads in the newspaper. Depending on your measurements once you are 18 you may be suited for swimwear or lingerie modeling, but that depends on the look the company is looking for at the moment.

This is a bad time to find good examples of that. Companies are hurting all over and dividends are not really required to be paid out. Whether the Dow Select Dividend list, or the S&P Dividend Aristocrats, the list criteria must be amended, fudged, or simply suspended for some time lest no one qualify.

Gordon had an idea based in part on projections or at least wishful thinking. Dividing the expected next year dividend by the remainder of "required rate of return" less the open-ended assessment of the future dividend growth (what? mean? median? something else as representative?), and this determines the stock value?

If you are wanting to determine intrinsic value of a stock, check out Graham's Intelligent Investor (or Bogle). Graham (which Buffet says taught him things that made him rich) determined intrinsic value more on the base of equity and earnings than that subset which may or may not be paid out to stockholders in dividends.

The real issue of intrinsic value growth is found when net income builds equity values. That has nothing to do with dividends. But then rising equity values do not always translate into rising market value in the short term. Still, in the long run, it is hard to ignore value growth for long.
